What if the government breaks the law?
Hi Rohan and thanks for your question.
The law applies to everyone, including individuals, organisations, and the Commonwealth Government. All members of Parliament, including the Prime Minister, ministers and other members of the government must act lawfully.
If a law is broken, there are legal consequences. The courts are responsible for making judgments on the law and deciding on the penalties.
