How many shadow ministers, ministers, representatives and senators are there?

There are 76 senators in the Senate and 151 members of the House of Representatives.

The number of ministers and shadow ministers can vary according to how the government and opposition want to organise their teams; however, according to the Ministers of State Act 1952, there can be no more than 30 ministers.
