‘We want to expand our range of evidence into specific lessons and consequences of rapid and flexible home and online learning and teaching,’ announced the Chair of the Standing Committee on Employment, Education and Training, Mr Andrew Laming MP, in a press release.
The inquiry began in December as an investigation into the issues facing students and teachers who learn and teach in remote areas and complex environments. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a range of new educational challenges, which the committee is interested in studying.
The committee is currently taking written submissions, and invites anyone who would like to provide relevant information to write in.
