Support for senators and members

The PEO assists senators and members to work with students and teachers to raise awareness of and engagement with the Australian Parliament.

The Parliamentary Education Office (PEO) provides dedicated support to help senators and members become partners in the parliamentary education process through delivery of a range of engaging, accessible and informative materials and programs.

Senators and members can access a complimentary allocation of educational materials to use when engaging with students and teachers. The allocation includes the latest PEO educational publications, including Your Parliament, Australia’s Constitution pocket edition, and a range of colourful and practical promotional items.

Senators and members are encouraged to meet with students from their state/territory or electorate when they visit Parliament House. Resources and information for identifying and connecting with these groups is available from the PEO.

Senators, members and their staff can find out more about how the PEO can provide support by visiting the PEO services website or contacting peoservices@aph.gov.au
